Kickoff to Kindergarten

For children entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2017, AHHAH is offering a 5 week program
aimed at preparing children for this critical transition.
Creative movement through storytelling as well as mindful breathing and meditation techniques will be used with the children to teach them the skills needed to build self-awareness, self-regulation, compassion and kindness for self and others.
Each class includes interaction with peers, introduction to school subjects, and opportunities for speaking, reading, listening and writing/drawing.
While the children are in class, guardians will simultaneously learn through their own separate experience about what kindergarten will be like for their child and how they can best support them at home.
This is a bilingual (Spanish and English) class.
Locations:
2:00-3:00 PM Coatesville Public Library
4:00 – 5:00 PM Regency Park Apartments Community Center
Thursdays: July 13, 20, 27, August 3, 10
All sessions are taught in both English and Spanish
